This is Arthur Avenue in the afternoon — perfect for picking up ingredients for Sunday, with time to relax with a glass of wine and the best bites in Bronx Little Italy. We hit the key spots in the neighborhood, get oysters at the sidewalk raw bar, go behind the scenes at one of the bakeries, and stop by the church to light a candle. Then we head upstairs to the private bar at Mario's, where a spread of the neighborhood's best is waiting — salumi, fresh mozz, something hot from Mario's kitchen — paired with wine.
